Message from the Dean
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the College of Education and Human Performance at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø A&M University–Kingsville! We are proud to be the first teacher college in South 51³Ô¹ÏÍø—a place where tradition meets innovation, and where students are prepared to lead, teach, serve, and inspire. Whether your passion lies in education, counseling, health and kinesiology, sport management, or military science, you will find a community here that is dedicated to helping you reach your fullest potential.
Our programs offer career pathways for PK–12 teachers, school leaders, university faculty, professional counselors, health professionals, sport management experts, and officers in the United States Army through our outstanding ROTC program. We are also home to the Early Childhood Center, where the next generation of learners begins their journey in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment.
Every day, our faculty and staff work side by side with students to transform lives—one class, one semester, one certification, and one degree at a time.
We are excited you’re here. Welcome to a community committed to helping you achieve your goals and make a difference.
