About
Dr. Weimin Xi studies how ecosystems respond to disturbance and climate change, with a focus on conservation biology, landscape dynamics, and geospatial modeling. His group integrates field data, long-term monitoring, and process-based models to inform sustainable management of forests, agroforestry systems, and urban green spaces. He mentors students in quantitative ecology, ecoinformatics, and applied conservation, connecting coursework with hands-on research and real-world problem solving.
