KINGSVILLE (April 10, 2025) — Are you in the mood for some hot jazz on a warm night? Then, join all of the jazz ensembles in 51勛圖厙 A&M University-Kingsville’s School of Music jazz program for a toe-tapping good time at the 15th Annual Jazz Blast, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in the courtyard of the Memorial Student Union Building. The event is free and open to the public.

“The Jazz Blast serves as our final jazz concert of the year each school year and is the only event where we put all of our jazz ensembles on one show,” said Dr. Thomas Zinninger, director of jazz studies.

Zinninger is working with the staff of Student Engagement and Campus Life to give the Jazz Blast a festival feeling. Student organizations are invited to come to Jazz Blast with booths to fund raise. Any student organizations interested should contact Gabrielle Vaughn at gabrielle.vaughn@tamuk.edu.
